Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using SpeechButton ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. SpeechButton is operated by Pavel Taran ("we", "us", "our").

2. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SpeechButton on macOS devices that you own or control, for personal or commercial use, subject to these Terms.

You may not: reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App; remove any copyright or proprietary notices; or use the App for any unlawful purpose.

3. Free and Pro Plans

Free Plan: SpeechButton is free to use for up to 15 minutes of transcription per day. The Free plan is available indefinitely with no credit card required.

Pro Plan: The Pro subscription removes the daily time limit and unlocks additional features including channel routing, AI transforms, and priority support. Pro is available as a monthly or annual subscription.

Prices are displayed in the App and on our website. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through our payment processor. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to Pro features until the end of the period you've already paid for.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use SpeechButton in compliance with all applicable laws. You may not use the App to:

• Violate any local, state, national, or international law
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the App

6. Privacy

SpeechButton processes all audio locally on your Mac. We do not collect, store, or transmit any audio data, transcriptions, or personal information. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Intellectual Property

SpeechButton, including its code, design, logos, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Pavel Taran. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

SpeechButton is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your license to use the App is immediately revoked.

You may stop using the App at any time. If you have an active subscription, see Section 4 for cancellation terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
